Looking to see if anyone has had the "Beaklon" problem with Zodiac monster fights.

Has anyone lost a Zodiac battle and tried again the following year????

Are there actually specific dates for these?

Well I lost to that Xenon Zodiac around the year 1006 (since I was just wanting to unlock Xenon when I suddenly ran into it), then I just went back there right now (year 1016) and I didn't find him there...

Though I may have to try some more times though, or there's a condition I'm not meeting or something...

A bit unrelated, but some lolmaterial on the dialogue here.

I just beat Warrior Z (Durahan Zodiac) right now, and when I got the kanji for creating it, Cleo's dialogue was "I wonder what will happen if write this on a Magic Spell...". I laughed because literally the answer would be "WE WOULD ALL DIE." since the game would crash ._.

Oh and also, I apparently was able to encounter and defeat Vega already without encountering an event crystal. I was unlocking Phoenix when I suddenly encountered it... will this invalidate the Zodiac mark on me, or can I encounter Vega again?

Oh wait that's weird... There's actually the Zodiac as an event monster and the Zodiac as a Wild Monster. Their stats are the same, and their actually really the same monster, the only difference is that the Wild Zodiac only gives a bounty, while the Event Zodiac is triggered by the event, gives a kanji, and the Zodiac Mark on your monster. They actually are in the same location; I encountered Vega via a Red Crystal in the middle of Volk Magma, and Warrior Z as a Red Crystal at the northeast part of Papass Alps.

OK the "Beaclon conspiracy" doesn't happen for Zodiac Monsters... I was able to encounter Caesar again.
