A few questions regarding Techs (Techniques/ battle skills) What do the symbols represent on the Tech screen?

For example I'm pretty sure "star" means it's good in that area (Since my tiger's "somersault" has high accuracy in tournament battles and a star in it's hit rate area

What are the levels of these symbols? E.g. Star > ? > ? (etc)

X = BAD
O = Meh...
Double Circle = Good
Star = AWESTRUCK

Oh also, where does Triangle fit into that?

Heres an updated list:
X=No hit
Triangle=EXTREMEly unlikely
O=Good
Double O= really good
Star= Exceptional

Here are the numbers I use to correspond to each symbol using the same system as the perfect guide from lowest to highest -


1 - No symbol (rarely used, but present in the data
2 - Triangle
3 - Circle
4 - Double Circle
5 - Star

Its worth noting that the symbols also have some variance, by that i just mean that just because 2 techs have say double circles for accuracy doesn't mean they actually have the same accuracy.

Its probably obvious that this would be so, especially for any who have played and of the other games but thought i would throw it out there in case someone was confused by this. I kinda wish they had stuck with the S-E ranking method for sills it was a bit more accurate, oh well.

Everything is a number anyway. Each symbol represents a numerical range. It's a way to obfuscate the actual math.
