It appears Techmo is deciding to skip the first in the DS series in terms of translation and go straight for the second one.

A primary way to indentify that this is, in fact, the second one, is the monster list.

For example, the trailer lists the Gali as being one of the mosnters available, however, the Gali is NOT in Monster Farm DS 1.
