I will be getting the game soon and I was wondering if the regeneration drawings and words were the same as the first monster rancher ds. I didn't see anything about this posted anywhere else so I figured I should just ask.

The drawing part is more about re-creating Japanese characters accurately in this game as opposed to patterns or pictures in the previous game. There's also a lot of focus on saying words, which is very difficult to carry over to english speakers with different accents. We don't have anything in the usual list because we couldn't come up with a consistent way to regenerate monsters that we could easily communicate to users.
