After you beat the official S tournament, you'll be eligible to compete in four big tournaments which will grant you authorization to raise Naga, Monol, Gali and Centaur. Gali's tournament is on the first week of December

If you win the tournament, you'll get the Gali Mask. Use the mask in combination to get Gali.

Wow, I've certainly neglected the locked monsters thread in the FAQ. I should give it a once over once I've gotten more university work out of the way.

I did the tournament to unlock a gali, got the mask, but when I try to combine my plant/joker and pure hengar the mask does not show up. Any help please?

I wouldn't bother. You'd be better off generating one from the shrine. COmbining two monsters with the Item will only get you a baseline Gali anyway. You should save your combination for a better monster. There should be a Gali code in the database somewhere. If you unlocked Gali, then use that instead.

Oh yeah, the Perfect Guide doesn't give any actual codes, but it does say that the only way to regen a Gali is to use a written code of 5-6 characters.
