Errantry is still the best training around if you get lucky. Just like MFDS1, you get a number of die rolls based on your monster's Life stat. The higher your life, the more dice you get. The maps seem to be the same as they were in MFDS1 and they do change every season as well.

An important note, though, you cannot go to an errantry location if your breeder rank would not let you go there on an Expedition. Example - You can't bring a monster to the Volcano unless you have a breeder rank of S. For the list or rank requirements, look at the expedition menu before you go to the Errantry menu or see the list I put in the Expedition/Venture thread.

The number of dice a monster can get is 7. I got that with monster who had over 950 life. (My expedition monster, who I call Dora.)

Clarification/correction... The max number of dice a monster can START with is 7.

The complete guide was considerate enough to point out specific sections on certain boards, one board per stat, that allow you to get massive gains, and during which seasons these maps are available. I'll scan them and send the images to you.

Also, as it turns out, the number of turns you can start out with actually goes all the way up to 10, but you must break the stat cap to do this.

Here's a handy list of starting turns and Lif ranges:


1-249: 4 Turns

250-499: 5 Turns

500-749: 6 Turns

750-999: 7 Turns

1000-1249: 8 Turns

1250-1499: 9 Turns

1500: 10 Turns

That's consistent with the MFDS1 system.
