Ok, here ismy best attempt at the translation of the Combination formula published in the Perfect Guide...

New Monster Stats = Base Breed stats + (Average of combined breed stats * total compatibility bonuses)

The compatibility bonuses are outlined in the charts I posted in the FAQ section.

The best possible combination would be as follows -
2 Class S monsters with 100 loyalty, identical stat pattern, Both Fat or Skinny.

If I am right, this would be a sample case -

Phoenix 1
Stats - 300, 400, 200, 200, 200, 200
Loyalty 85, Fat

Phoenix 2
Stats - 301, 401, 201, 201, 201, 201
Loyalty 85, Fat

Book Phoenix (basic stats) = 120,150,190,140,160,110

New Baby Phoenix Stat 1 = 120 + (300 * (30% [2nd highest stats same level] + 10% [both ranked S] + 5% [both Skinny] - 0% [loyalty has no penalty]))
300 * 45%= 135
120 + 135 = 255 for Stat 1

The other possibility is that the identical stats could be a cumulative bonus...

Since these 2 phoenixes are identical in stats, they would be then compatible in all 6 parts. If it is cumulative, then it would be 160% just for the stat similarity. The result would then be 300 * 175% = 525 + 120 = 645!!!

Obviously this needs testing!!!!!!!

Look for my posts in a thread about combining. I got some monsters with higher stats than parents. Nothing that good, but close in at least one case of one stat.

This is huge, indeed!

I'll try to break away from my backlog of games and university work
as soon as reasonably possible to screw around with this. In the
meantime, Lisa's examples are quite interesting, though they don't
include loyalty or form, which we didn't think were particularly
important at the time.

I think the best way to test this would be to take 2 book monsters and train them in only 1 stat such that their distribution is still in the same level. Basically, get both of their loyalties above 70 to avoid that penalty.. The rank bonus is negiligible, so they can stay at E class.

I need to make my cash cow start paying out dividends so that I can be financially sound enough to attempt it. I just -really- want to see if the identical stat bonus really cumulative or not.

Just remember when you train your monsters that you -do- get Stat gains when you win a tournament. You can only tell what you gained by looking at your monster's stats after the tourney since they don't show the gain on the screen.
