This thread is for listing information on the game's wireless functions and what they do.

First off, there's the rather cryptic "Test your Strength" option. It refers to testing strength while passing, or walking down the street. I don't know exactly what it does or how it works, but here's what I could tell; in the submenu are three boxes and a search button. The three boxes have "Years, Months, Weeks" written in them and are completely blank initially. When you select the search button, your monster leaves, and a search begins, indicated by a swirling gyroscope icon on the top-right corner of the top screen. I didn't get any results after a number of long waits, so I don't know what happens after that. It appears to be a local option.

I cannot say for certain, but I believe it takes your monster and compares it to others, where they're listed in the aforementioned boxes.

There are two primary battle options; Friend Battle and Random Battle. Friend Battle lets you compete against people on your friends list, whereas Random Battle pits you against, you guessed it, random people. There are one-on-one and three-on-three options for each one.

Since the servers are in Japan, western players will experience very heavy slowdown. Once servers are established in the west, things should run much more smoothly.

There's are options to view/get your Friend Code, add one to your friends list, view your friends list, change your Wi-Fi settings and have local battles.

I'm sorry to say that the wireless combining is local only.
