Recently my phoenix flew off because it was dying. Dr. Talico said it flew off to revitalize itself. Is it possible to get the phoenix Back or do you just go on without it?

seriously, people usually get phoenix early on in the game, when they still might let monsters die. a player who sticks around long enough to unlock metalner has figured out not to let their monster die by that point.
but thats dodging the issue - i have been on forums like this one for more than 3 years now, and i have never read an account of how metalner dies. would you please post it?

Well it's been awhile but...
The metalner turns into a little flying saucer and Colt says something like "Oh no 'metalner' is flying away" and then I THINK she goes to Pabs for an explanation and he says something like "well I guess he was done doing his research on this planet and has now gone home to report on it."
Anyway it's something like that, been quite awhile so...
