We are upgrading the Rare Cd listings and issuing a... Call For Help.
If you have a CD that creates a Rare in either Monster Rancher or Monster Rancher 2, please post the following information here:

  • UPC: the numbers under the barcode on the back
  • Catalog#: located on the case spine
  • Label: the company that put it out

Also, you can include any other info that might make a difference, like- Origin: Country printed in,or Info: Bonus tracks or special covers or Parental advisory. Anything that helps us nail down the correct pressing. Then, we'll edit them into the regular Cd listings.

I have edited in all the old posts in this thread, and deleted them. We are still looking for detailed info on a few discs, but please, please, look at the CD list entries before posting any info. Also note if your post is about the USA/Canada (NTSC) version of the game, or the UK/AU PAL version.

liner (zilla/???) indicated by lisa, it gave a regular gaboo.

This is known. Only one, very rare early pressing makes Deluxe Liner, the rest make Gaboos.

It might be useful to give us the UPC code and the little numbers from the inner ring of the disc to help us clarify.

I posted the Zilla listing when we moved, but I was never able to actually find a correct copy of the soundtrack.
