In preparation for building my next Durahan - once my current one is too old to fight any more - I'm looking for some of the rarer disk chips. It seems to me that either a Wracky disk (with its Heavy Drill SPD bonus) or a Ducken disk (with its initial SPD boost) might help keep my next armor-boy from being quite the sitting duck that the average Durahan tends to be. I've seen some map breakdowns, but I'd rather rely on the personal experience of my MT compadres. Any suggestions for the best places to find Wracky and Ducken disks?

Personally, I'd go for the Wracky Disk. The initial bump from the Ducken Disk is nice but limited to a one time boost. Good for getting a monster that NEEDS speed jump started. I like the long term potential of the Wracky Disk, something that will benefit the monster it's entire life. Face it, Speed for a Durahan is bonus. Especially if this is a second or third generation monster, which should start with a reasonably good defense.

I vote Wracky Disk.

Thanks much, mates! I appreciate your thoughts. Granted, I'm having a devil of a time actually *finding* Wracky disks! I've been tearing my hair trying to find them (and Beaclon disks, too, while we're at it. Do those darn things even exist except on paper?). I'm pretty sure I'm checking in the right areas, and my expedition monster has maxxed INT. Maybe I need higher SKI..?

Does skill affect expeditions at all in MR2, I dont' think it does. Need life for searching, power for breaking stuff, and intelligence for finding stuff. I don't think skill has anything to do with it. Just luck.

i'm not sure if a study has been done regarding the role of skill in expeditions. from my own experience, i agree with mepersoner.

Ive gotten Beaclon disk chips before, but I cant remember if they were from a B class cup or the Gold Peach errantry.

I've gotten them, too, as well as Mock chips. They are strung throughout the Parepare adventure, as well as Gaboo, CP, Gali, Hopper, and Golem chips.

I've recently gotten a Wracky Disc Chip at the Kawrea Expedition. Specifically, at the location of the altar where you get the Joker Mask.
