Remember you were saying that Jokers appeared to have a long 4th stage? Well last night I discovered the value of the monster's current life stage. Nevistar picked it up and put it to good use on a Joker. Looky here:

Stage 1 : 18 weeks
Stage 2 : 17 weeks Stops liking Milk
Stage 3 : 35 weeks Monster grows
Stage 4 : 35 weeks
Stage 5 : 35 weeks Monster grows again, beginning of Prime.
Stage 6 : 18 weeks Prime
Stage 7 : 52 weeks
Stage 8 : 53 weeks Here's the long Stage 4 you was talking about!
Stage 9 : 35 weeks
Stage 10 : 52 weeks

Nevistar and I are planning to use this on other monsters and see what happens. This is proving to be interesting so far....

Ooohh! So there _is_ some proof to the theory of the long Joker 4th stage! That all of a sudden makes Joker blood in my monsters a _desirable_ thing, rather than a troublesome thing. They might not have a long lifespan, but that looooooong span afterwards makes it well worthwhile.

Well, that is, if they don't end up sharing that long 'stage' with any other monsters as well. *crosses her fingers* It'd be really nice to have actually made a real discovery. ^_-

Well, Jokers also add to the mix such fun things as the Real battle special and the those high attack stats.

You appear to be right with the Joker subs as well, Kurasu. Early results of some tests by Nevistar show that the relative length of the life stages seems to be determined by the SUB-breed, not the main breed, so any monster with a Joker sub will have the same lifespan pattern as a purebreed Joker. Like you didn't know that already :)
