(By now you're wondering why this says "Part Five" here and "Part Four" in the subject line. This is done intentionally to confuse you and make you doubt whether or not I know what I'm doing. Or it could be because I wrote this up as one long document and split it up differently here. Or I could just be evil and twisted. So ppphhhhbpt!)
Not all monsters like Tablets, unfortunately. Sometimes you’ll get one with good starting stats and/or techniques, or get just the breed you wanted in a combination, but it’s neutral to Tablets. Now what? Most of the methods will still work just fine, fortunately... see the “Raising Tablet-Friendly Monsters” for more information on each individual method.
All methods assume that you’re starting each work cycle with either (0,0) (0 Stress, 0 Fatigue) or very close to it.
CHILDHOOD/ADOLESCENCE METHODS:
These methods are heavy on Light Drills. It’s not that you can’t use them in Prime, it’s just that you’ll probably get better results from using HDs in Prime for most stats. If you’re at a stage where HDs have petered out (three stars on your better HDs, low gains from the remaining ones, high stats all around) you can certainly go back to these methods.
will lose one week of lifespan every other month with a Tablet-neutral monster. Sorry about that, folks. If you want, you can avoid this by swapping the last two items in the first month-cycle around:
will lose one week of lifespan every other month as above if Tablet-neutral. You have the option of taking that loss (which doesn’t sound like much, but figure that that’s six months of lifespan if you’re doing this method over four years... or replace the Candy with a ML, which will work fine but burn Form at a staggering rate throughout the cycle. Or use one of the other methods including Rest now and then to slip in some Candies.
Have fun with all of these, and if you use my methods, let me know how your critters are doing.
