Any ideas? I have been trying to figure this out and I am not sure what is wrong. I do have an S class Undine that I am using that also found the footprint. I have heard that the monster is tough but I really want a Jill! Thanks for helping :P

It's random just be patient, it can take several years.

Would it be best for me to keep going to the errantry and waiting for the warning from the fellow that runs the joint, by this i mean reloading my save over and over, or continue raising and fighting with my good 'ol Undine and keep going to the errantry every now and again.

Continue raising and fighting. It won't happen right away. Reloading won't help much if it's too early. IIRC it took me maybe 3 years for the event to happen.

Interesting. I got mine pretty quickly, I think I just went on the errantry, didn't get it and reloaded and got it instantly, or I went on two errantries in a row and got it the second time.

I can't guarantee this will work but it if you want to get it quickly you could try getting a dummy monster and sending it on back to back errantries, when you finally get the Jill warning reload and send your strong monster instead of your dummy?

I will maybe try that. I have let about 7 months go by in game while I trained one of my other monsters. Do you think I need at least a B class monster to send to the errantry to get the warning?

18. Jill- Be 6th rank or higher. Find the big footprint at the Torles mountain expedition. It is in the snowman shaped building in the upper right hand corner of the map. Send a B class or higher monster to the speed errantry. You should get a warning for Bighands, the first time you go. You will not get the warning again, but do not be discouraged. You can sell the Footprint now, as it will not affect your chances of encountering Bighands. You will randomly fight Bighands, a very powerful Jill. Beat him and you will recieve the Big Boots. Use these in combining to get a jill. You will only ever get one set of boots so use them wisely.
