Well it has been a while since I've played Monster Farm 4 (japanese). I got myself a copy of Monster Rancher 4 from my friend in the US and got my ps2 modded up to be able to play the US Version of the game.

Anyway since I've just started and finished the game and would start going into some researches to continue unfinished researches. I have a few question. I never found the exact value or estimated value of the following in either the FAQs or in the Researches / Japanese Version area (early spoilers).

1. stress increases during training (from level 1 to level 4 and special training)

2. stress increase / decreases during battle

3. stress decrease when resting

4. Praising and scolding

so far i have read the effects of items and foods but i haven't found how much stress is incurred after each training.

These are things we never actually got game values for - it's the kind of thing that would take the source code to figure out for hard numbers.

There's too many variables to get any sort of values by outright testing.

It really is very unfortunate.

since i don't know how to use Action Replay Max and i currently don't have one i'll try to crunch the estimates using the game play estimates. will give you an initial estimate later if i get home early. (1 week test since i'm starting 5 pixies)
