I'm raising antlans as well as mocchi, I saw the thread that said that antlans are power monsters even though they an equal amount of intelligence like a mocchi. Should I train it like the mocchis or just go with strength?

To me dragons are complicating creatures since they need all their stats raised. Would I earn more points doing lvl.2 gadget, lvl.1 train, lvl.2 gadget, lvl. 1 train, rest. Or, would I earn more doing lvl.2,lvl.2,lvl.2,rest.

What I do, is train for 2 weeks on the toughest gadgets you have, obviously on what your monsters need to work on based on what you want them to excel in. Then rest. This is a good way to train, because it only takes minimal changes, if you need to rest them when it says "train". An answer to your first question, is, I would train Antlans on both. Antlans aren't based on Power or Intelligence alone, they are based on both. Their moves are good in both, so I would train them on both.

Thanks Sturnum94. But I have another problem sometimes my monsters get frustrated when being fed or praised when done right(85%-higher). I have a zuum/rhinoroller, garu/suezo, suezo/lesione, ant. blue(I use antlans on multiple files), & ripper/lesione. most of the problem is with zuum though, usually when I raise zuums they be fine. Oh, and only ant.blue dislike play and it don't do it as much as it.

Maybe the monsters have behavioral issues. They might not like what they are doing, or eating. Or praising. This might sound wierd, but I used to have multiple monsters who didn't like food, or rest. Or, it could be because they are stressed. When they are frustrated, did you punish them the week before? And do you have a wonder well? Wonder wells, I think lower stress, or it could be the Gemini Fountain. Anyways, It could be these problems.

"ven though they an equal amount of intelligence like a mocchi."

Where did you see that????

The statgains chart shows:
NameBreedPowInt
RageRockAntlan/Golem74
QuintieAntlan/Pixie66
BlakkusAntlan/Joker76
EcologiaAntlan/Plant66
ProtoAntAntlan/Henger76
EvalAntlan/Zan74
RhinorhineAntlan/Rhinoroller74
FalcolanAntlan/Raiden75
AntlanAntlan/Antlan75
RedBurnAntlan/Garu75
PharoEyeAntlan/Suezo66
DolaineAntlan/?73
Ant. RedAntlan/?64
Ant. BlueAntlan/?47
Ant YellowAntlan/?73
Dark AntlanAntlan/?73

Three types have equal Pow/Int, 6/6, the rest do not.
Since you never state exactly which type you are intedning to raise, it is impossible to give any sort of meaningful reply.

You need to look at the exact breed rather than making wildly inaccurate generalizations. Doing research carefully is the first step in working on your method.

To Lisa Shock,
what I meant was that a mocchi learns 6 power moves and 6 intelligence and so does a antlan.

To Sturnum94, I decided to switch the way I do things, I used to feed their perferred(like/want)and then scold them. Now I scold, then feed to not cause any confusion to my monsters.

Megaman, I wouldn't give them their favorite food, then scold them, that is probably why they get frusterated. If you were given your favorite food, would you like them (your guardians) to scold you afterwards? That is what I like the MR series, they are so like the real world.

By Sturnum94 on Monday, August 21, 2006 - 02:11 pm:

Sorry, I mean't the other way around. Scold, then favorite food.

Yeah, I see what you mean.
