i was woundering if the rank of your monster, would effect the result when combing them with the other monster?

and if this had been posted before sorry i have not found it, and sorry for all the spelling errors if their are any.

The ranks of the two monsters being combined will affect the starting rank of the resulting monster.

For example...meh im too tired firestorm will give ye an example.

Combine and A Class monster with an A Class monster you'll get a D Class monster. I THINK if you combine a S Class with an S Class you can get a C Class monster. I THINK.

you're right MrGG. but if you combine an S with an A you'll get a C.

I think it goes something like...

S Class + S Class = C Class
S Class + A Class = C Class
S Class + B Class = D Class
A Class + A Class = C Class
A Class + B Class = D Class
???B Class + B Class = D Class???
Anything Below + Anything Below = E Class

.. yah, something like that. I'm not to sure about the B class + B Class one.

I'm pretty sure B-class plus B-class results in
E-class.

I think I made a discovery. I combined my C Class Durahan and my S Class ProtoAnt and all the resulting monsters from this combination were D Class starting.

This may mean that S Class + C Class= D Class

What about an S class and an E class? what would it make?

S Class and E class make an E class mosnter

I combined S class Doliane (Antlan/????) With a
class S pixie/ripper and got a B monster, but it only worked once i did the same thing with two other S monsters and got a C class monster.

Let's see the exact statistics on that one. Otherwise, I can't believe you, because this is the first reported case.

On a side note, thanks for bumping this thread (there's something you'll rarely hear from me). I'm actually working on the game now, and this is something I'll have to update.

Well you've already got some data (I suppose that's really that better word here) when you say that you used and S class Dolaine and Pixie/Ripper. However, we know nothing beyond that.

What were their stats like? Who did they beat (S official, Kawrea+ boss, etc.)? Did you use any items?

Who knows, maybe you beat a hidden set of requirements that none of us triggered before, maybe you're remembering incorrectly. Both cases happen.

That would not get you anything different from what was stated before. I've done things similar to that, if not exactly the same, and still gotten C class monsters.

I want this, specifically:
"Who did they beat (S official, Kawrea+ boss, etc.)"

Then, if both did that, then I really don't know. I've never tried to combine two S winners, or two Kawrea boss beaters, I can't verify or deny those. Maybe someone else could, though.
