Ok Yet another day yet another experiment this one measuring the effect of lifespan hits. Guess what... I FOUND SOMETHING!!!
Ok First I found out that all my pixies who have not serious temper Always spit when I scolded them and the pixies that have normal tempers always threw a hissy fit when I scolded them (hmm.....)
Using T6-T10 Pixies (refer to Monster Rancher Metropolis: Monster Rancher 4 Archive (PS2): Miscellaneous Q&A (Post New Questions Here) : Pixie Lifespan Tests for more information) T10 and T7 sat this one out as baseline pixies. Heres my logs.
8mo1wk: T6 Scolded 5 times T6 Frustrated 8mo3wk: T8 Scolded 5 times T8 Frustrated T8 Scolded ANOTHER 2 times T8 Irritated 8mo4wk: T8 Frustrated T9 Scolded 5 times T9 Frustrated 9mo1wk: T9 scolded 4 times T9 Frustrated T9 Scolded another 3 times T9 Irritated 9mo2wk: T9 Irritated T9 scolded 6 times 9mo3wk: T9 Retired at age 4yr1mo3wk 10mo1wk: T6, T7, T8, T10 Retired at 4yr2mo1wk
The pixies were rested this whole time. I kept all variables that were in the experiment the same.
As you can see (or not see) T9 Did take a 2 week lifespan hit but nobody else did. I dunno what to think of this data but I do know this needs more testing. Another Test another day. Happy Ranching

No other types of monsters have been tested. I have other things I'm doing. Doesn't mean you can't test them though

Harrabcat, would you like me to start testing other data?
Let me know the methodology, and I'll start working on getting more numbers for ya.

Unfortunately In this field getting numbers involves hacking, which involves long tedious hours pushing buttons, changing things, reseting, and repeating. I don't have a gameshark but if you do I go by week by week of what I did with my monsters. Go ahead and test away J
