Monster Rancher Metropolis: Monster Rancher 4 Archive (PS2): Shrine Topics (Disc & Encyclopedia): Question about double sided discs By raynbow on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 - 07:06 am:
Ok, I have a couple double sided disc's and I have a question about which 'side' the monster comes from. By RyuDragon on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 - 07:27 am:
Well, Did you get the same results as the other person when you flipped the disc over & tried again? By Slugg on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 - 08:02 am:
Since I get totally baffled by double sided discs as well, here is my tip to you. (I am assuming you are talking about Wide Screen/Standard DVD's) By Lisa Shock on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 - 08:39 am: The standard is that what is on the label is actually the content of the other side, since the laser reads the underside of a disc. Think of it as if the disc were just one sided; you'd have a pretty painted side with the name, and the silver side with content. So, if you see "Widescreen" on top of the disc as you insert it, that's the WS side you are shrining. By raynbow on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 - 10:43 am: Whups ok,some of my entries in the list are probably backwards then! Sorry! By WHT Junior on Wednesday, November 19, 2003 - 12:38 am:
To avoid any confusion, I list my entries as (Standard Label Up) or (16x9 Widescreen Label Up), using the exact text the label ring shows. I know it helps me, so hopefully it helps others as well. ^_^
