For the first time ever in a Monster Rancher game, you can get the option of a /? offpring in combining if one of the parents is a /? type, without using items.

I have a Thamoana (Zuum/?) so far, with every type of monster I have tried combining it, a Thamoana is one of the offspring options! It may not work with every breed, but it's nice to know that it works with some of them. This means that you can have better babies through combining.

Actually, Djinnmastr, if, as I suspect, you are referring to MR1, then the answer is No. It would show monsters with ????, but they were not obtainable monsters.

If not, then the answer is still No. Lisa's comment was limited to the Monster Rancher games. Other games need not apply.

MR2's Gold Suezo is the only one I can think of, BUT it starts with the same stats every time. And, the offspring is different from the parents. In MRA2, the /? baby (which is the same breed as the parent) can have higher stats plus lots of techs, so it is unique.

so I can take a ??? breed and mix it with a zan and get a Zan/??? am I right or did I read wrong?
