I went in to pursue my long-term breeding project, and found out to my dismay that when I tried to combine the first branch, I couldn't get any sub-breeds into play! For instance, I was combining a Garu/Hare and an Antlan/Gitan, looking for a Gitan main-type-- but the only things it allowed were the same breeds I was putting together or an Antlan/Garu! Is there any combining item that allows me to get around this? Because otherwise my entire breeding project will have to be scrapped...

Since you can choose a result in MRA2 combinations, subs
never jump to a main. If they did, you'd have something
like 16 possible results from that little combo you listed.

Unless you use a one of the Tridents to make a Gitan with
no subbreed or ???.

Hmmmm....I hadn't thought of that. Except, I'd need to HAVE a Gitan to get the White Spear, so...urgh. Dang.

How about the black spear Nate? You don't need a gitan for that...

Yeah, but I've already unlocked Gitan, hence my ability to have sub-breeds of it.
